Let us pick you up from your place of stay in our brand new 7-passengers Toyota Sienna’s and take you on a journey you will never forget. We will tour the beautiful island while jamming to the local Hawaiian music, making stops at all the famous spots. We can walk up the family-friendly Makapu’u Lighthouse Trail and stop at “Secret Beach” for a jump in the gentle waves of the turquoise blue South Pacific. We will stop for delicious local grinds at the world famous Kahuku Shrimp trucks and tour the epic North Shore to view the giant waves and check out the professional surfers at the Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. This was our first time visiting Oahu. We’ve been to Maui and the Big Island. We weren’t really impressed when we initially arrived in Oahu, seemed kind of dirty and big cityish. We ran into Big John at the Moana Surfrider Beach bar and he offered to take us on a tour to see the real island of Oahu. Thank God we took him up on his offer. He showed us such an incredible experience. Water falls, sea turtles and uninhabited beaches. So much to see, so much to do. We enjoyed the Circle Island Tour and our time together at “Secret Beach” but what we really enjoyed more than anything was our time with Big John. We had an awesome day fishing with the guys who really know what they’re doing and worked hard us. We caught an enormous Wahoo fish and it gave us a pretty hard fight. My right arm is still sore from reeling the fish in and we will definitely be referring our friends from San Jose, California in the near future. Can’t wait to rock it out with you guys again !! Big John’s Sportfishing was so incredible!!! Captain Eric and Big John were so knowledgeable and hard working. We caught two Mahi Mahi fish within the first two hours of our SportFishing tour! And even though the ocean was a little turbulent on the way back, we actually caught a 46 pound Yellow Fin Tuna fish out by the deep water fish buoy off the West end of Oahu. Being an older 38 foot Bertram, the boat was built very heavy and handled the larger swells comfortably. Big John and Captain Eric are true fishing Professionals and you won’t be disappointed. We look forward to next year, and will firmly recommend the Golden Dragon boat and Big John’s Sportfishing tours to all of our family.

Great fishing on a beautiful day! We caught three enormous mahi-mahi and they cut them up for us at the dock over a cold beer and some great laughs. Totally recommend Big John and Captain Eric to all of our friends visiting Hawaii. Thanks for the memories!

Big John is so kind and accommodating. We came to Hawaii as a family and we even brought our elderly mother. John recommended Diamond Head Crater and a day at the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. Big John said this would be a great package for our family as the hike was very easy as well as paved for my mother. Waimanalo Beach was incredible and there was even a beautiful Hawaiian wedding taking place right on this spectacular ⛱beach. We absolutely loved the entire experience and we recommend going with Big John for a real Hawaiian experience.

Big John picked us up at our hotel very early in the morning as he recommended we start our Diamondhead Crater tour early before the crowds and to catch the sunrise coming over East Oahu. The views were out of this world! And the hike was pretty gentle. Being our first time visiting Hawaii, our friends referred us to Big John’s tours. Boy were they right! Big John is so much fun and a very knowledgeable man. Kailua Beach was really great and there were a dozen kite surfers just off shore putting on a show for us. Manoa falls was somewhat muddy but the destination was definitely worth the climb. Big John’s is a gold star service tour experience. Our tour guide, Big John was engaging, interesting and hilarious. He knows aspects and secrets of the Hawaiian Islands that most can not deliver or describe. I would have never found these isolated paradise beaches if it weren’t for Big John and his wonderful staff and I will continue to refer all of friends to Big John’s when they are visiting the island of Oahu. If you have never been to the Hawaiian Islands, take a full day tour with Big John as there is so much beauty that only a true local knows about. We are so happy to have met Big John !! He truly enhanced our lives. We were on our way from LA to Japan and we had an overnight layover in Honolulu. When we arrived on Oahu, we had no particular plans, so we Googled a taxi service and Big John’s had the best ratings on Yelp. We called him last minute and he agreed to pick us up at the airport and bring us to our hotel in Waikiki. His van was clean and Big John accommodated our every need. As we have never been to Hawaii before, we asked Big John if he would be willing to show us around last minute and he replied that he would be honored for the opportunity. We ended up experiencing a half day tour on the East side of the island and we now have pictures and memories for a lifetime. Big John’s is the very best and second to none. Can’t wait to visit with him again and we will always recommend his services.

Big John & Captain Ken were truly the nicest and most professional people we have met ! So fun loving and very talented at what they do ! It was our first time visiting Hawaii and we weren’t really certain if we were just going to hang out at the beach or mix up some activities while we were there on our honeymoon. Big John, suggested we might enjoy a day at Waimanalo Beach because it is secluded and quiet with Gentle waves. Afterwards we went on Ms Sunshine with Captain Ken and Big John and we were treated to a sunset from the heavens !! Not a bad Mai Tai either !!! I was going through a tough time and needed a ride to work at 4:30am for a week minimum. John readily offered to help me out and at a very affordable rate. He was so dependable, showing up promptly every morning, and with a friendly smile, as well. We had great conversations and he never complained about anything. He offered a listening ear and was so kind and solicitous. He will always be my go to guy when I need a ride. I HIGHLY recommend his company. Very dependable and nice!!

First time trying Big John and it was the right choice!
He texted and said would be early but no rush. Did tell us about Aloha Friday Traffic so we should leave 15 minutes earlier and this time helped us at the airport. Because it was crazy on a Friday nice , clean large Toyota van with lots of space
Coming home he texted the about confirming pick up and that we was watching the flight . Very attentive.
His made sure we got safely home .
His price is reasonable and we will be sharing with neighbors and friends about his service from Hawaii Kai.
